Red Cross GO-VAXX Clinic

11:30 AM | 17 Queen St., Ripley

The Canadian Red Cross is hosting 4 COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at the Ripley-Huron Community Center.

Location: 17 Queen St. Ripley in the Auditorium.

Time: 11:30am to 3pm

This clinic will be open to anyone 5 years and over.

There will be both Moderna and Pfizer available for adults for anything between 1st and 5th dose depending on eligibility. Pediatric pfizer will be available to children for their 1st and 2nd doses. 

Anyone 18 and over can now receive their 4th dose as long as the interval is appropriate.

Additionally people aged 12-17 are eligible for their 3rd dose as long as the interval is appropriate.

Immunocompromised individuals who meet the criteria are now eligible for their 5th dose.

St. Andrew's United Church and Bervie United Church share their summer services in the months of July and August.

In July, join both congregations in Bervie at 4938 Highway 9 at 9:30 a.m.

In August, join both congregations in Ripley at 1 James Street at 10:00 a.m.

St. John Ambulance Babysitter Course

The Huron-Kinloss Recreation Department is offering a St. John Ambulance Babysitting Course. 

Date: August 16, 2022

Location: Ripley-Huron Community Center - Social Room

Time: 9am to 4pm

Cost is $65 per person.

Participants must be 11 years old by the day of the course.

The babysitter course is recommended for ages 11-13 years old and focuses on childcare and provides basic first aid and CPR techniques. Certificates will be issued to participants who successfully pass the course. The course includes group work, as well as individual work and multiple-choice exam at the end. 

Space is limited.

Ripley Food Art Craft Festival

The Ripley Food, Art and Craft Festival is back in full swing!

We are excited to welcome back all our vendors from past years and looking forward to all the new vendors joining us this year.

This annual event features local artisans and product from homemade treats, to stained glass, macramé, and hand carved furniture. We are excited to feature over 30 local vendors this year!

$2 entrance fee; children 12 and under are free.
